The Kancil Creative Festival Conference 2024 is back to inspire those in the creative and marketing ecosystem at a one-day symposium style event, with the theme “Make It Happen”.
Organized by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents of Malaysia (4As), the event is comprised of 14 separate sessions including engaging talks, workshops, lively panel discussions, screenings, and exhibitions of Malaysia’s best creative work from the past year.
Co-chairperson of the Kancils Creative Council Emir Shafri, Chief Creative Officer of Publicis Groupe said, “Malaysia’s creative and marketing community has everything it takes to put our country on the global creative map: resilient talent, an innovative spirit, and a vibrant cultural heritage. With this inspiring day alongside local and international creative icons, we aim to ignite a spark that drives festival-goers to make their next big creative idea happen with those ingredients, for themselves, their brands, and our nation.”

This year’s Creative Festival Conference speaker line-up features creative and marketing powerhouses who have made their mark locally and globally, including Taiwanese ad legend Alice Chou; TikTok Shop Inspirational Icon 2023 Khairul Aming; TikTok Shop Creator of the Year 2024 Pinn Yang; award-winning gaming and marketing expert Rey Tiempo; Malaysian-born-and-raised global creative leader VJ Anand; marketing maverick and Grab’s Regional Head of Brand and Country Marketing Sulin Lau; and creative technologist Nico Tangara of the iconic BBH Singapore.

The event will be capped by the presentation of the Kancil Awards, Malaysia’s longest running and most prestigious advertising and creative awards competition.
