Telekom Malaysia gives its unifi service an overhaul

Telecommunications giant Telekom Malaysia has introduced an overhaul of its unifi brand.
This would mean the firm’s offerings in areas of home internet, WiFi, mobile cellular and over-the-top TV services will all carry the unifi name.
The stable of products under the unifi umbrella will now be aimed at “Accelerating Convergence and Empowering Digital” services.
“unifi kicks off 2018 with a refreshed look and feel, and the completion of the single brand approach to mobile and TV in addition to home and Wifi,” said Imri Mokhtar, TM’s executive vice-president for unifi.
Also present during the launch were TM Group CEO Datuk Seri Mohd Shazalli Ramly, his deputy Datuk Bazlan Osman, and other members of the firm’s senior management.
Previously known as webe, unifi mobile will aim to disrupt the mobile cellular market by being the first to offer users a “hybrid” approach to the usual prepaid or postpaid dilemma.
This allows users to tailor the services and charges to their own needs, all without long-term contracts or commitments, while continuing the pioneering offer of unlimited calls and Internet access.
